Data access
Up Next Nashville can be queried directly. Access is free, and each answer comes back with at most 25 listings, most recent first. There is no bulk download: the listings exist to answer questions, not to be copied wholesale.
What can be asked
Search new Nashville businesses by:
- Name - a word or part of a name, such as
coffeeortaco. - Kind of business - for example Restaurants & Dining, Retail, Construction & Trades, Beauty & Personal Care, Coffee, Tea & Sweets.
- Neighborhood - for example East Nashville, Antioch, Germantown & Salemtown, Downtown & SoBro.
- Status - open, or in the works.
Summary counts are available too: how many businesses are being tracked, how the filings spread across months, and how they split by kind of business and neighborhood.

The optional limit parameter asks for fewer
than 25 results. Answers are JSON.
Email signup
POST /api/signup with a JSON body of
{"email": "...", "type": "weekly"} (or
"pro-waitlist") joins the weekly email or the Pro
waitlist.
Listings show a business's name, kind of business, neighborhood, status and filing date. Nothing else about a business is served.
