Perenn Grocery opens Friday, October 30, at the corner of Martin and Humphreys in Wedgewood Village, the AJ Capital Partners development in Wedgewood-Houston.

It is the market Aubrey and Tyler O'Laskey first built in Nevada in 2024, scaled up for Nashville: thoughtfully sourced produce, meat and dairy from local farms, finish-at-home meals, pantry staples, baked goods, coffee and wine, alongside a prepared-foods line the team has been developing through the fall, from cottage cheese dips and salads to smoothies and packaged snacks. The space folds in a bakery and café, and a listening room built around record players and custom speakers, meant to make music part of the grocery run.

The O'Laskeys founded Perenn in Reno in 2018 and have grown it into one of Nevada's best-known bakery names on naturally leavened breads and croissants. Nashville is their second home now: Perenn at Cheekwood opened in May, joining their Franklin restaurant and a Berry Hill production bakery. As of last week the Wedgewood-Houston shelves were being stocked and the team was in training.
